Yay for Halloween & for finally putting up most of my decorations! So what would happen if Frankenstein wandered into Santa's toy shop ...
I found a box of old dolls at an estate sale a few months ago & thought they would be perfect for Halloween. Let me tell you the process of taking them all apart was just a little too creepy for me. Sweaty palms & I had to leave the light on for a few days. I'm such a lightweight when it comes to scary stuff.
Love these plates I found at Target yesterday. A bargain at $1.99 each! Place mats are made out of old ledger paper.
The random doll arms hanging from the tree are my favorite.
A vintage dress form spruced up for the big day.
I cut up last year's Martha Stewart "trick-or-treat" banner and used the skulls on some handmade paper rosettes.
The big piece of Pyrex lab glass is home to a handful of rubber cockroaches and some sparkly branches.
Vintage doll parts attached to super old glass bottles. And a nice little black crow snacking on some arms.
Vintage medical diagrams - photocopied & hung on the wall. Cardboard bugs from this year's Martha Stewart Halloween collection.
